About Sara Jones
Sara Jones is CEO and Founder of InclusionPro®. With 25+ years of experience, leaders have trusted her to consult on big decisions and bring clarity to complex challenges. She has consulted hundreds of clients over the past 9 years. Sara draws on deep experience across business, technology, content, revenue, and law—connecting the dots between strategy and results. Her metholody catalyzes mission, people, and strategic outcomes—so that purpose, people, and performance move together.
Sara has been featured by TED, NPR, and international media, and is a keynote speaker. Her TED Talk on international adoption has been viewed more than 2 million times (go.ted.com/sarajones). She also coaches executives and served as a longtime speaker coach and advisor for TEDxSaltLakeCity.
Previously, Sara was CEO of ApplicantPro, an HR technology company accelerating revenue by 63%, and was VP of Strategic Development at Patent Law Works, an IP firm in Silicon Valley. She also led business development and product development at School Improvement Network where she sourced the largest deal in company history ($4.5M). Sara spent her early career mastering intellectual property law and rising to partner at Workman Nydegger.
Sara co-founded Women Tech Council in 2007, steering its mission, growth and impact for over 13 years. She supports strong governance and workforce strategy. She currently serves on NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) Utah Chapter Board and most recently the Utah State Workforce Development Board. She is active in policy and national legislative efforts.
She has received a CEO of the Year Award from Utah Business Magazine and is a Recipient of the University of Utah Distinguished Alumni Award, one of the university’s highest alumni honors, recognizing sustained leadership and impact.
Sara has a J.D. cum laude from BYU Law School and a B.S. in Chem. Eng. with honors from the U of U.

Kirk Englehardt Business Ethics Award
Sara Jones received the 2024 Kirk Englehardt Business Ethics Award from Utah Valley University Center for the Study of Ethics. This prestigious award honors individuals who demonstrate a continuous dedication to ethics through their business practices and community service. The event is co-sponsored by the Utah Valley University Center for the Study of Ethics and the Woodbury School of Business and stands as one of the longest-running business ethics recognitions in the country. In her Keynote "Facing the Storm: Ethical Business Leadership in an Era of DEI Controversy,” Sara shares context and implications of the current DEI landscape. She also inspires hope for business leaders and steps forward toward unity.
Distinguished Alumni Award from University of Utah 2021
Sara Jones received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Utah 2021. She is a 1998 graduate from the College of Engineering (Chemical and Fuels department), and received an Honors Degree from the Honors College. To celebrate the founding of the University of Utah in 1850, the university made this Awards Video to recognize alumni and honorary alumni who have served their community, excelled professionally, and supported the university in its mission.
